LITES Network

LITES is a research network focused on improving understanding and care in traumatic injury and emergency medical services. Its work brings together research sites, including hospitals and emergency medical services, to study critical prehospital and trauma-care topics. Current research areas include whole blood and hemorrhagic shock, traumatic brain injury, breathing and airway management, and prehospital injuries.

One study associated with LITES is the Prehospital Airway Control Trial, or PACT, which examines prehospital airway management.
