Little Apple Riders Equestrian Center (LAREC) is a small equestrian training and lesson program based in St. George, Kansas. Operating from a 19-stall barn, the center provides riding lessons in both English and Western disciplines. Eventing is its primary discipline, with a strong emphasis on dressage. Its teaching approach encourages riders to become proactive, capable equestrians by focusing on the horse and the relationship between horse and rider. Lessons help riders develop feel, communication, and the ability to lead confidently, rather than simply going along for the ride.
In addition to instruction, LAREC offers training and sales services for a limited number of horses, allowing each to receive the time and attention it deserves. The center features lesson horses and competition horses, as well as LAR-bred young horses and horses for sale. Riders and families can explore these offerings, follow Lauren Schiller’s YouTube channel, check the show calendar, and contact the center to book a lesson or request more information.
