Little Beginnings

Little Beginnings is an early childhood learning center and daycare in Hope Valley, Rhode Island. Serving families in the Chariho district and surrounding communities, it provides child care and early education for children from six weeks to five years old. The center describes its approach as caring, safe, affordable, and developmentally appropriate, with attention to each child’s individual interests, pace, culture, and background. It also emphasizes close collaboration with parents, recognizing families as children’s first teachers.

Little Beginnings offers programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Its curriculum aligns with the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards and supports intellectual, social, emotional, language, and physical development. Infant activities encourage curiosity, sensory exploration, and motor skills, while toddler experiences build communication, independence, social interaction, and early problem-solving. Preschool learning provides age-appropriate challenges in areas such as literacy, numbers, creative expression, self-help, cooperation, and physical coordination. The center aims to prepare children for kindergarten without rushing their individual development. Families can contact Little Beginnings by phone or email to learn more.
