Little Caterpillar Child Care is an early learning and childcare provider serving families in the Port Charlotte area. It offers year-round, full- and part-time care for children from infancy through school age, with age-based classrooms for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children ages four to six. The center also provides a VPK program.

Its approach combines child-initiated learning inspired by the Reggio Emilia method with the FunShine Express and Frog Street curriculums. Children are encouraged to explore materials, learn through play, and discover ideas alongside classmates, with teachers supporting their development in a positive, small-class environment. Classroom activities include music, art, playground time, gross motor movement, and opportunities to build character and social skills.

Little Caterpillar Child Care emphasizes prepared, well-trained teachers and individual attention. Tuition includes a homemade breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. The center’s services are designed to support children’s learning, creativity, social development, and everyday care, while offering families a consistent setting for their children throughout the year.
