Little Crooked Creek Safari is a family-focused animal attraction in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, between Louisville and Lexington. Set across 23 acres, it offers an interactive way to discover wildlife, learn about animal behavior, and enjoy time together. Guests can take a half-mile walk through the zoo, home to hundreds of animals, and see, pet, and feed many of them; animal feed is included with admission.
The collection includes exotic and farm animals, with featured encounters involving sloths, capybaras, giraffes, zebras, a camel, and an anteater. Experiences include sloth and capybara encounters, giraffe experiences, VIP tours, birthday parties, and school field trips. Staff share animal facts and provide activities for children, while many animals are bottle-raised or hand-raised to support close, friendly interactions.
Visitors can choose a self-guided visit or book a special animal encounter for a small group; children aged two and under are free. The safari is generally open Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional Friday openings. Visitors should check its Facebook page for schedule updates
