Little Engines Physiotherapy is a mobile physiotherapy service supporting children and their families in Canberra. Inspired by the story The Little Engine That Could, the practice believes that children can make progress with the right support, especially when challenges affect their gross motor development or ability to reach milestones.
The service is led by Sarah, a physiotherapist who completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle in 2007. After beginning her career in hospital settings, she spent more than five years in paediatric private practice at a specialised multidisciplinary clinic in Sydney before returning to her hometown of Canberra. Sarah is passionate about helping children of all ages work towards developmental milestones and personal goals. She also guides and coaches parents, helping them understand their child’s development and ways they can provide support. Care may be short or long term, depending on the child and family’s needs. Little Engines Physiotherapy offers information about its services, fees and funding, and welcomes families to make contact.
