About Little Footprints Big Steps
Little Footprints Big Steps (LFBS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable children in Haiti. Our mission is to reunite families and empower them with the resources and opportunities they need to create a self-sufficient future. We believe that children deserve to be in safe, loving, and self-sustaining families, not orphanages.
Working closely with local staff, authorities, and partners, LFBS provides comprehensive care in our transitional safehouses. We also offer inclusive community interventions, such as education, vocational training, micro loans, business start-up activities, mental health support, nutrition, and medical care. As a respected leader in the field of children's rights, LFBS is known for our holistic approach to child protection and sustainable family development.
We collaborate with Haitian Social Services (IBESR), UNICEF, LUMOS, and other stakeholders to ensure that every child in Haiti has the right to grow up in a safe and loving family environment.
