Littleleaf Flutes

Littleleaf Native American Flutes is the work of Charles Littleleaf, an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Central Oregon. A traditional flute maker, recording artist, musician, and storyteller, Charles creates handcrafted Native American flutes rooted in his cultural heritage. His instruments are recognized for their craftsmanship, sculptural detail, and careful tuning, and the site offers ready-to-ship and commissioned flutes, necklace-style flutes, and trail flutes.

Charles’s musical journey began after he received a flute from renowned Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai in 1992. He later attended a flute workshop at the Feathered Pipe Ranch, where he learned to value playing from the heart and spirit. Since then, he has developed his music and shared it with audiences, alongside instruments designed for musicians. The website also features flute music, playing tips, photographs, and information about Charles and his art. Through flute making, performance, and storytelling, Littleleaf Music presents Charles’s commitment to preserving and sharing his cultural heritage.
