Little Opihi Lactation

Little Opihi Lactation is a family-focused lactation and postpartum support practice serving families on Hawaii Island from Kailua-Kona. Founded by Rachel Litchfield, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and postpartum doula, the practice offers personalized, compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual family’s needs. Its lactation services include one-on-one outpatient support, with guidance available from pregnancy through breastfeeding and weaning.

Recognizing that breastfeeding does not always come naturally, Rachel helps families navigate questions and challenges along the way. Little Opihi Lactation also provides personalized in-home postpartum care to ease the transition of bringing a new baby home, whether it is a family’s first child or a later addition. This support focuses on the family’s needs during the fourth trimester.
