Little Sea Stars

Little Sea Stars LLC, led by certified ISR instructor Amy Tincher, provides Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) survival swimming lessons for infants and young children. Its customized, one-on-one instruction uses ISR’s Self-Rescue program to develop water safety and swimming skills in children aged six months to six years. The core course typically runs for four to six weeks, with brief lessons five days a week. Once children develop their skills, they practice ISR techniques while fully clothed, and refresher lessons are recommended as they grow.

Little Sea Stars emphasizes individualized teaching, ongoing program evaluation, and parent education. The business also shares water-safety guidance, including advice on adult supervision, pool barriers, CPR, and door and window alarms. Its approach recognizes that lessons are only one part of drowning prevention: no child is drown-proof, and active adult supervision remains essential. Little Sea Stars offers lesson and pricing information, scheduling, and scholarship details, helping families explore available instruction and take practical steps toward safer experiences around water.
