Little Whiskers Rattery

Little Whiskers Rattery and Co. is a small hobby rattery based in Tyrone, central Pennsylvania, dedicated to raising healthy, happy, well-socialized fancy rats. The rattery prioritizes health and temperament, combining careful breeding with attentive handling and an enriching upbringing. Babies are handled from birth and raised in engaging habitats, with individual attention, balanced diets, exercise, and enrichment intended to support their development. The rattery generally raises only two to three litters at a time so it can focus on each animal’s well-being and socialization.

Its rats include a range of fancy rat varieties, with a focus on black, agouti, and blue colors, Spotted Tabby (Marble) and Silvermane patterns, and Rex coat types. Adult does and bucks are considered part of the family and receive spacious, stimulating habitats and balanced food. The rattery also provides adoption applications, agreements, policies, and information about available rats, alongside guidance on care, health, housing, diet, and bringing rats home.
