Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu Club is a martial arts club in Liverpool dedicated to teaching the traditional style of Hung Gar. The club’s approach draws on the style’s five animals—Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Snake and Dragon—and five elements: Earth, Fire, Gold, Water and Wood. Training covers techniques and sparring, as well as Lion Dance and weapons, offering a range of activities for different interests.

The club runs adult classes for people aged 14 and over, alongside children’s classes for ages seven and up. Adults can choose a weekly bundle priced at £10, which includes unlimited training. Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu has been established in the city for almost 50 years, and its lineage is traced to the origins of Hung Gar.

Alongside its lessons, the club performs Lion and Dragon Dance and martial arts shows. With years of performance experience, it is available for bookings at weddings, festivals and charity events. People can contact the club to ask about classes or arrange a performance.
