About Livestock Information
Livestock Information is a brand that provides essential information and services for the livestock industry. They offer the Livestock Information Service (LIS), a joint venture between industry and government, which was developed with input from farmers, market operators, and abattoirs. The LIS facilitates online reporting of sheep, goat, and deer movements in England, ensuring effective disease control and food safety.
To access the LIS online, users need to create an account using their existing CPH number and associated email address. Livestock Information also offers the Livestock Unique Identification Service (LUIS), which replaces the ear tag service for sheep and goats. LUIS is available to registered tag suppliers.
