About Living Life With HS
Living Life With HS is a patient-led Community Interest Company supporting people affected by Hidradenitis Suppurativa across the UK and Ireland. Built by people living with HS, alongside family and friends, it offers a welcoming community grounded in lived experience rather than clinical advice. Its work centres on support, awareness and self-advocacy, helping people feel less alone and better equipped to speak up about their needs.
The organisation provides WhatsApp peer-support groups for people with HS, as well as partners, caregivers, family members, supportive friends and healthcare professionals seeking to learn. Members can share experiences, discuss difficult days and everyday practicalities, and connect with others who understand. The website also offers plain-English information about HS, personal stories, blog articles, and practical resources, including an HS survival toolkit and a benefits guide. Visitors can contribute their own stories, contact or collaborate with the community, join a monthly newsletter, and support the organisation through donations.
