Living Meyer is a historical fencing initiative dedicated to studying and practicing the art of Joachim Meyer. The project brings the work of Living Meyer into conversation with the Meyer Freifechter Guild and its wider community. These archive pieces are being reviewed against their sources and republished with credit to their authors, supporting careful study and continued discussion.

Living Meyer also organizes gatherings that combine practical fencing with learning and exchange. Its featured event, the Fleur-de-Lis Fechtschule in New Orleans, includes workshops, lectures, fencing, and time together. Through its research, practice, events, and shared resources, Living Meyer helps keep historical fencing an active, collaborative pursuit for learners and experienced fencers alike.
