Lizzy Wolfson is a stand-up comedian and comedy producer based in Colorado, originally from outside New York City. After working on ranches in the American West, she traded her lasso for a microphone and became an active voice in the LGBTQ community. Wolfson performs regularly at Comedy Works Denver, The Comedy Fort, and Denver Comedy Underground, and has appeared at festivals including High Plains, Limestone, 10,000 Laughs, Laughing Skull, Middle Ground, Black Hills, and Flyover.
Alongside her live performances, she runs shows and a podcast through WolfHawk Comedy, her Denver-based comedy duo with Elliot Broder, also known as Mike Hawkburns. Since starting to produce and host shows in Colorado in 2018, WolfHawk Comedy has presented lineups featuring local stand-ups and nationally touring professionals. Wolfson’s site also highlights her commitment to animal rescue: she has fostered more than 100 dogs into permanent homes.
