About Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy
The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) is an esteemed Fellowship program designed to develop the next generation of values-based Nigerian leaders. LJLA aims to build skills, awareness, and a nuanced perspective among young people to tackle challenges in various fields, particularly in the public sector. Fellows of the program will gain first-hand experience in governance at a State government level, engage in roundtable discussions with renowned leaders from both the public and private sectors, and participate in domestic and international policy trips.
This one-year intense program aims to produce and develop leaders who will shape the future of Nigeria. Fellows will shadow public sector leaders, gaining exposure and developing essential leadership skills. They will act as SPECIAL ASSISTANTS, working on diverse issues, drafting speeches, and representing their agencies.
