LJN

The Landesjägerschaft Niedersachsen e. V. (LJN) is the state association representing hunters in Lower Saxony, Germany.

It connects local hunting associations across the region and provides information and services for members, prospective hunters and the public. Its work covers wildlife and hunting, hunting-dog training, hunting horn playing, sport shooting, public outreach, and nature and species conservation. The association shares information about native wildlife and habitats, wildlife management, hunting seasons and the return of wolves to Lower Saxony.

It is also commissioned to conduct scientific wolf monitoring. People interested in earning a hunting licence can find guidance, while members can access association resources, news and local contacts. The LJN supports projects including wildlife surveys and nature education, and offers a hunter education centre, programmes for young hunters and a forum for women hunters.
