Lindenpark Karneval Club e.V. (LKC) is a carnival club based in Babelsberg, Potsdam, bringing people together to celebrate Fasching with humor, music and dance. Its annual season features three main events at Lindenpark, including lively parties and stage shows for local audiences. The club’s 48th session is themed “Landesamt für Karneval im Chaos,” a playful take on a chaotic carnival authority, with comedy, music, dance and surprise performances.
LKC also offers opportunities to take part behind the scenes and on stage. Its groups include a large and small guard dance troupe, Tanzmariechen solo dancers and a men’s dance ensemble, which perform choreographed routines in costumes. The club welcomes people interested in dancing, costumes, event organisation, moderation, performances and other contributions to the season. It is also seeking a prince and princess for the coming carnival season and invites individuals, friends or couples to apply. With around 75 members, LKC connects participants with a wider carnival community through visits to fellow clubs and shared celebrations.
