Welcome to the website of LKUEA, the Latvian Wood Processing Entrepreneurs and Exporters Association! We are an association that brings together entrepreneurs and individuals involved in wood processing, the production of wooden products and structures, and the sale of wood products. Our main goals and objectives are to implement joint action programs, represent the legitimate interests of wood processing entrepreneurs and product suppliers in government institutions, cooperate with similar organizations in Latvia and abroad, conduct market research and provide marketing support to our members, promote educational activities within our membership, and contribute to the development of professional education. LKUEA is a member of the Latvian Forest Industry Federation (LKF), which aims to ensure international representation of Latvia's forest industry interests and develop and coordinate the activities of associations.

LKF advocates for sustainable forest management and the processing of timber grown and obtained in accordance with the laws and best practices of the Republic of Latvia. Our organization was founded on May 7, 1993, and comprises companies involved in various aspects of wood processing, from timber preparation and sawn timber production to the manufacturing of furniture components, construction parts, and finished homes, as well as the sale of wood products.
