Leichtathletik Klub Zug

Leichtathletik Klub Zug (LK Zug) is an athletics club based in Zug, Switzerland, founded in 1945 and recognised as one of Central Switzerland’s leading athletics organisations. The club focuses on competition and performance sport while welcoming people who want to practise athletics with less emphasis on competition. Its strong youth programme gives around 200 children and teenagers opportunities to train across all disciplines and build skills before choosing a specialisation. Training is organised for age groups from U10 and U12 through U14, U16, U18 and older athletes, with a training plan and training camps supporting the programme.

LK Zug also contributes to athletics beyond its own training groups by organising events, including the Frühjahrsmeeting, Zuger Stabmeeting and Nationales Bettagsmeeting, as well as the UBS Kids-Cup Team. The club has hosted major competitions, including the 2020 Swiss Relay Championships. Its athletes represent the club in national and international competition. LK Zug provides information about membership, club apparel, annual fees, events and volunteering, and invites supporters to become patrons.
