About Long Live the Kings
Long Live The Kings (LLTK) is a brand dedicated to restoring wild salmon and steelhead populations and promoting sustainable fishing in the Pacific Northwest. With a vision of a Pacific Northwest region with a flourishing human population, a thriving economy, and vibrant salmon runs, LLTK has been at the forefront of innovative field work, pioneering science, and partnerships since its establishment in 1986.
LLTK's efforts span from the headwaters to the open ocean, recognizing that the survival of salmon and steelhead depends on a vast ecosystem. They implement solutions grounded in science, bringing more fish to the community and supporting killer whales. Additionally, LLTK leads cutting-edge research to understand the factors influencing salmon and steelhead survival and develop solutions to accelerate their recovery.
The brand also focuses on improving management strategies, rethinking how decisions about salmon and steelhead management are made to ensure their resilience in the face of environmental changes. With over 30 years of work, LLTK's impact includes the return of over 1 million fish through partnerships and projects at more than 125 sites.
To support their mission, LLTK invites individuals to get involved by donating, attending events, and staying updated through their blog. Together, we can work towards bringing salmon back for the long run.
