LM International

LM International is a global, faith-based nonprofit foundation working to eradicate poverty and help vulnerable communities live with dignity. Founded in 1958, the organization has worked in more than 80 countries and is currently active in 25 countries across four continents. Its work focuses on essential services and sustainable change in water, sanitation and hygiene, health, education, food security and livelihoods.

LM International works with communities and local partners to develop solutions that meet immediate needs while supporting long-term resilience and protecting the environment. Its programs include humanitarian assistance, development initiatives and peacebuilding, with activities such as access to clean water, health services and training, education, climate-smart farming, vocational skills, and income-generating opportunities. The organization also supports community engagement and locally led approaches, adapting its work to each context.

LM International collaborates with governments, civil society, nonprofits, donors, private-sector organizations, academic institutions and other partners. It is a signatory to the ICRC Code of Conduct and a founding member of the Core Humanitarian Standards Alliance.
