The Latin Mass Society is an association of Catholic faithful founded in 1965 to promote the traditional Latin liturgy of the Catholic Church, along with the teachings and practices connected to it, its musical heritage and the Latin language. Serving Catholics across England and Wales, the Society helps people find Traditional Latin Masses and organises events that bring communities together. Its annual pilgrimages include a walking pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham each August, as well as pilgrimages to Holywell, York, Oxford and other locations.
The Society also offers resources on Church documents, liturgical tradition, Gregorian chant, learning Latin and the history of the movement. Its magazine, Mass of Ages, shares news and reflections, while its events calendar lists Masses, talks, training and other activities. Through its online shop, the Society sells prayer books, rosaries, devotional items, clothing and books on Catholic faith and tradition.
Membership, donations and the Ad Futurum Appeal support its work to safeguard the Traditional Latin Mass for future generations
