About LimmaTech Biologics AG
LimmaTech Biologics AG is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company based in Schlieren, Switzerland. Established in 2015 as a spin-off from GlycoVaxyn, LimmaTech specializes in engineering complex carbohydrate molecules to develop next-generation vaccines for life-threatening diseases. Their focus is on diseases with emerging antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
Currently, LimmaTech is conducting two Phase I/II clinical trials in collaboration with GSK. One trial is testing a 4-valent candidate vaccine to prevent diarrheal disease caused by the Shigella bacteria in children and infants in low and middle-income regions. The other trial is evaluating a 4-valent candidate vaccine to prevent Klebsiella infections.
