Memorial Day Parade

The Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade Association, Inc. organizes the annual Memorial Day parade serving the Little Neck and Douglaston communities in New York. The event, which the organization describes as the largest parade in the nation, has marched rain or shine since 1927. The 2026 parade is scheduled for May 25, with a 2 p.m. start. Its route runs along Northern Boulevard, from Jayson Avenue in Great Neck to 245th Street in Douglaston.

The association welcomes community members who wish to apply to march, volunteer, or support the parade through donations. Volunteers are needed for setup and breakdown, hospitality, and transportation. The organization also recognizes honorees and provides parade-day information, including a line of march.
