LN KNITS

LN Knits is a heartwarming knitwear brand founded by Ellen Kegels in 2011. What started as a passion for knitting, baby alpaca yarn, and Peru has now become a renowned brand offering handmade luxury knitwear. Ellen's journey began at the age of 16 when she started knitting beanies for her loved ones.

As the demand grew, she enlisted the help of knitting grannies to fulfill the orders. Inspired by her love for Peru, Ellen traveled there to launch a knitting atelier for a good cause, leading to the production of LN Knits' first collection. LN Knits not only provides honest work to over 350 women in Peru but also supports them with services like daycare and medical check-ups.

The brand is dedicated to sustainability, using only natural materials and implementing a zero-waste policy. The leftover yarns are transformed into a beautiful collection of DIY and home products. Today, LN Knits is available in over 35 boutiques across Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States.

Ellen's commitment to her Peruvian artisans and her role as a mother is reflected in her dedication to finding a balance between work and family.
