L&T Howden Private Limited is a joint venture between Larsen & Toubro Limited and Howden Holdings B.V. The company provides equipment, aftermarket spares and services for coal-fired thermal power plants, with a focus on regenerative air pre-heaters and variable pitch axial fans. Its offerings include air pre-heater systems and axial flow fans, supported by engineering expertise across installation-related upgrades and ongoing equipment needs.

L&T Howden operates an integrated manufacturing and testing facility at Hazira, Gujarat. The facility manufactures heating elements for air pre-heaters and main bearing assemblies, and can conduct full-size performance testing of variable pitch axial fans. Through its after-sales services, the company supports customers with retrofits, upgrades, refurbishments and performance enhancements.

The company also undertakes corporate social responsibility work through Saksham, an initiative focused on improving educational infrastructure for underprivileged children in slum areas. It provides schools with tangible assets and basic amenities. L&T Howden’s head office is in Vadodara, Gujarat, and its registered office is at L&T House in Mumbai.
