Local Botanist

Local Botanist is a Queensland landscape and garden design brand based on the Gold Coast, creating tailored outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. Its services include landscape and garden design, plant procurement and sourcing, garden maintenance, office plants, and design and installation. The team develops concepts for projects ranging from front yards, backyards, and small gardens to pool landscapes and larger commercial settings, with an emphasis on considered planting and curated solutions.

Local Botanist designs landscapes Australia-wide and provides professional installation across South East Queensland, including the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Sunshine Coast. Its regional service area also includes locations such as Byron Bay, Tweed Heads, Burleigh Heads, Southport, Robina, and Logan. Plant orders are sourced through a network of private nurseries, with recommendations personally researched by the team; the site states that plant orders are fulfilled above a minimum value.

The brand also shares garden inspiration and practical resources, including style guides, plant care advice, garden ideas, and a garden style quiz.
