LOCAL is a Brazilian construction procurement platform developed by LOCAL OBRAS PORTAL DE SERVIÇOS NA INTERNET LTDA, based in Goiânia, Goiás. It helps people and businesses source building materials by turning a shopping list—typed or photographed—into organized requests for quotes from suitable local suppliers. The service standardizes item descriptions and quantities, then presents supplier proposals side by side, including item-level prices, delivery times, and freight costs, so users can compare options beyond the overall total. Customers can also nominate a trusted supplier, and the platform offers a history of previously quoted material prices.

LOCAL serves construction companies, contractors, site managers, engineers, architects, and individuals building their own homes. Its initial service area is Goiânia and the Metropolitan Region, with more than a thousand suppliers mapped across Goiânia and nearby cities. The app is in development. Creating a quote and receiving proposals is free; customers pay a one-time fee only if they choose to reveal a selected supplier’s full contact details. Suppliers receive quote requests at no cost.
