Local Trusted is a UK-wide directory designed to help people find independent, vetted local businesses and tradespeople. Established in 2018, the service describes itself as a free database focused on genuine local providers, rather than national companies or listings dominated by paid advertising. Its goal is to make it easier for customers to identify reliable businesses near them and connect with services that meet their needs.

The directory covers a broad range of sectors, extending beyond building and trade services to include professionals such as accountants and web designers. Featured categories include graphic designers, plumbers, locksmiths, CCTV installers, plasterers and electricians. Users can search for nearby companies and assess listings using information such as customer reviews, photos and opening hours.

Local Trusted also highlights feedback from customers across the UK, with testimonials describing experiences with listed tradespeople, particularly locksmiths. These accounts mention communication, service quality, reliability and value, helping prospective customers make informed choices.
