Lochland AG & Turf

Lochland Ag & Turf is a family-owned sod farm in Walkersville, Maryland, operated by a fifth-generation dairy and crop farmer. The business grows Maryland State-Certified turfgrass sod, harvested fresh and cut to order for residential and commercial projects. Its University of Maryland-approved blend contains 90% tall fescue and 10% Kentucky bluegrass, selected for durability, color, and performance.

Lochland serves homeowners, contractors, landscapers, golf course superintendents, and sports field operators. Its sod is suited to home lawns, renovations, parks, commercial sites, golf courses, and athletic fields. Grass seed and related supplies are also available, along with guidance on planning, soil preparation, installation, watering, and care.

Customers can arrange farm pickup by appointment or request scheduled delivery. The farm serves Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Delaware, with service focused on Frederick and nearby counties. Lochland offers quotes for projects of different sizes and recommends ordering in advance to help ensure fresh sod availability. The company provides residential, wholesale, and commercial options.
