Loci Studio is a landscape architecture and garden design practice in Portugal, founded by landscape architect Amália Souto de Miranda. The studio creates bespoke outdoor spaces that strengthen connections with nature and feel appropriate to their setting. Its work serves private homes, hospitality clients, institutional and cultural spaces, including projects connected with the arts and health sectors.

Services range from landscape architecture for estates, housing developments and public spaces to garden design, planting design and botanical surveys. The team can also provide botanical consultancy, garden photography and follow-up support for garden maintenance. Projects typically begin with a site visit to understand the client’s needs and assess factors such as soil, climate, topography, existing vegetation, architecture and site requirements. Loci Studio then develops concepts and masterplans, proposes materials and planting palettes, and prepares technical drawings covering elements such as levels and lighting. When requested, the studio inspects completed gardens over multiple seasons, monitoring plant growth and maintenance and making adaptations where needed.
