Lock City Drift is a community-driven grassroots drifting organization based in Somers, Connecticut, serving drivers and fans across the Northeast. Founded in 2012, it grew from a group of friends into a hub for people with different experience levels who share a passion for drifting and grassroots motorsports. The organization emphasizes inclusivity, driver education, and developing practical driving skills.
Lock City Drift hosts drift events for a range of abilities, with multiple layouts, as well as track days, friendly competitions, and its Street Series, where drivers can compete in grassroots drifting. For those looking to build confidence or refine their technique, it offers drift lessons, one-to-one instruction, and clinics that combine classroom learning with on-track coaching from veteran instructors. Drivers can also consult its technical regulations to prepare their cars for events.
Beyond driving programs, Lock City Drift provides event tickets, merchandise through its online store, and information about private parties and facility rentals.
