LocoSki Academy is an indoor ski training facility in Saillon, Valais, offering year-round skiing regardless of weather conditions. It features what the site describes as the largest and only indoor ski treadmill in French-speaking Switzerland, and the first of its kind in Valais and Switzerland. The adjustable-speed treadmill has a tilting synthetic slope designed to recreate the feeling of gliding on snow while enabling users to practise indoors.
Sessions are intended for skiers at different stages of their training, with opportunities to develop technique, strengthen physical preparation and enjoy skiing with friends. The facility promotes its treadmill as a practical way to train at any time while reducing the costs and constraints associated with outdoor skiing. Visitors can book sessions online and contact the academy with questions or specific requests.
Located on Route des Epineys in Saillon, LocoSki Academy is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
