Locumotion Ireland

Locumotion is Ireland's premier doctor-led medical recruitment service, offering a range of services to both healthcare employers and GP doctors. Established in 2000, our mission is to contribute to the development of a sustainable primary healthcare infrastructure in Ireland. As a leading provider of full-time, part-time, and Locum GP doctors, we support employers in expanding their practices and providing round-the-clock patient care, all while ensuring a balanced lifestyle for doctors.

We offer GP doctors the flexibility to enhance their professional skills by working in various healthcare settings, treating diverse patient populations, and gaining new clinical perspectives. With our extensive industry knowledge and expertise, we ensure that we match the skills, career aspirations, and lifestyle preferences of our candidates to suitable job opportunities. Our network includes over 400 GP Family Practices, out-of-hours co-ops, urgent care clinics, and exclusive contracts with large corporate clients.

This allows us to offer career opportunities that are unavailable elsewhere in Ireland. By registering with our Talent Network, GP doctors can get a head start on the job market and find their dream position while eliminating unnecessary delays. Our experienced leadership team, including General Manager Michelle O'Sullivan and GP Recruitment Lead Irial O'Sullivan, works tirelessly to meet the needs of our team, doctors, and customers.
