Locus Map

Locus Map is a mobile outdoor navigation app designed for hiking, cycling, geocaching, sailing, flying, and other sports and travel activities. It helps users find their way with a broad selection of online and offline maps, route planning, navigation, and GPS track recording. Users can choose a destination, create or import routes, review elevation profiles and route surfaces, and navigate on or off road, including when internet access is unavailable.

The app also supports recording, analyzing, sharing, and exporting tracks, with options to send activities to services such as Strava. Its route planner can suggest routes and round trips, while customization tools let users tailor the interface to their needs. Features for specific activities include cycling dashboards and sensor support, geocache management, running statistics and audio coaching, ski maps, and hiking-focused navigation and battery-saving GPS settings. Locus Map offers maps from providers around the world, including its own OSM-based LoMaps, and provides a route planner, live tracking, user guides, help resources, and support through its website.
