Student? Zeilen? Loefbijter! De Loefbijter is een studenten sport- en gezelligheidsvereniging, dat houdt in dat we buiten het sporten ook gezellige borrels en andere activiteiten organiseren. Ben jij fanatiek zeiler en wil je dat vooral gaan doen? Hartstikke leuk, wij helpen je daar graag bij! Ben jij eigenlijk niet van het zeilen, maar wil je wel lekker borrelen bij een kleinschalige vereniging? Ook gaaf! Bij De Loefbijter kan alles, en jij bepaalt.

About Loefbijter
Nijmeegse Studenten Zeilvereniging De Loefbijter (NSZV De Loefbijter) is a student sailing and social association based in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. It welcomes both experienced sailors and students who have never sailed, giving members the freedom to focus on sailing, socialising, or a mix of both. Alongside sailing, the association organises drinks, gatherings and other activities, including introductory events for students interested in joining.
Members can use a varied fleet that includes Valks, Lasers, a Pico, Viva 700 (Ceto), J/22, Laser 2 and Flying Junior boats, and take part in sailing and races. The association’s home base includes Het Bastion, a watersports centre on the Spiegelwaal that has been in use since spring 2023. Located close to Nijmegen’s city centre, it provides a base for getting out on the water.
De Loefbijter supports its community through committees, disputes, member information and activities throughout the year. It shares updates and event information online, maintains a shop, and invites prospective members to visit during its introduction programme.
