Maternity Experts is a health advocacy group focused on improving maternal and infant safety, especially regarding home birth practices. Recognizing the complexities of contemporary maternal health, the organization addresses the rising trend of home deliveries amidst increasingly complicated pregnancy cases. They emphasize the critical need for mothers to be fully informed about the risks associated with home childbirth, recommending that only qualified birth attendants participate in these situations.

The group highlights that while home delivery can be suitable for some women with uncomplicated pregnancies, the lack of reliable home birth services and the inadequacy in communication may pose serious risks. They advocate for open discussions between healthcare providers and expectant mothers, ensuring that informed consent is prioritized. With increasing public awareness about potential complications, Maternity Experts aims to guide women in making safe choices by promoting hospital births for those with complex medical histories, all while enhancing the quality and availability of maternity services
