Logos

Logos is an open-source technology initiative building private-by-default, decentralised infrastructure for communities seeking alternatives to legacy platforms and institutions. Its technology stack is designed to support parallel societies: communities, institutions, and economies that can coordinate and operate with greater independence. The project brings together contributors, researchers, node operators, and local Circles working on technology and community-led issues.

The Logos stack includes Basecamp, a locally installed launcher that runs on users’ own hardware and brings together tools such as a wallet, messenger, file sharing, and blockchain explorer. Its modules support private, censorship-resistant communications; privacy-preserving file sharing; and decentralised computing and consensus. The blockchain layer includes the Logos Execution Zone for deploying programs and building financial applications, alongside Cryptarchia, a private proof-of-stake consensus mechanism that keeps validator identities and stake amounts hidden. Developers can build applications and modules for the ecosystem, while node operators help secure its network. Logos also explores privacy-focused financial infrastructure and use cases including private payments, secure coordination, and anonymous donations.
