Lohjan Urheilusukeltajat

Lohjan Urheilusukeltajat ry is a Finnish diving club founded in 1976 and a member association of the Finnish Divers’ Federation. With around 80 members, the club supports recreational diving through training, regular activities and opportunities to explore different underwater pursuits. It runs annual scuba and snorkelling courses led by instructors approved by the federation. Courses are generally held at Meriturva and Lohja’s Neidonkeidas swimming facility, and successful participants receive an international CMAS diver certification card.

The club also has an active weekly Norppa group for young people aged 8 to 15. Its programme includes swimming, snorkelling, freediving, underwater and water polo, first aid, lifesaving skills and water games. Members can pursue a broad range of interests, including scuba diving, spearfishing, underwater photography, fin swimming and marine archaeology. The club offers pool training, equipment and club facilities, along with member communications and social activities. Prospective members can apply through its membership form. Lohjan Urheilusukeltajat welcomes people interested in developing their skills and enjoying aquatic activities together.
