Lohrig Sportwagen GmbH is a specialist in classic Porsche vehicles, based in Stuhr, Germany. The company focuses on air-cooled Porsche models, offering workshop services, vehicle sales, restoration, and support for buyers seeking a classic car. Its workshop provides maintenance and servicing, engine and transmission repairs, wheel alignment, adjustment work, and air-conditioning service. Restoration options range from partial work to complete rebuilds, supported by technical advice, spare-parts sourcing, and referrals to partner businesses.
For customers looking to buy, Lohrig helps locate classic and youngtimer Porsches worldwide, including in Europe and the United States. Services include vehicle inspections, offer verification, purchase coordination, transport, and import arrangements. The company also offers assistance with selling vehicles. Its background grew from the founder’s enthusiasm for air-cooled 911s and experience in industrial vehicle manufacturing at Porsche and Daimler, followed by hands-on restoration projects. Lohrig presents selected examples of its restored Porsche 911s and aims to help fellow enthusiasts find and care for their dream cars. The company notes that it is independent of Dr. Ing. h.c.
