Loire Divatte Escalade (LDE) is a climbing club based at the Complexe du Zéphir in Le Loroux-Bottereau, serving the Nantes vineyard area. It offers year-round climbing classes for children from age six and for adults, welcoming beginners as well as experienced climbers. Members can pursue climbing for recreation, fitness or competition, with activities suited to different abilities and personal goals.
The club also organizes holiday climbing courses, providing an opportunity to discover the sport and potentially helping prospective members secure a place in a future season. For young climbers seeking a more intensive challenge, LDE offers a selected competition group for participants born between 2011 and 2018, with two weekly sessions. The club hosts competitions open to different categories, emphasizing conviviality, mutual encouragement and personal achievement.
Its event program includes separate competition days for lead and top-rope climbers, with food available on site. LDE shares information about training, courses, outings, results, events and registrations through its website
