Lombo do Ferreiro is a Portuguese artisan cutlery workshop dedicated to creating distinctive, handcrafted blades inspired by the country’s cultural roots and traditional craft. Recognized as an Artisan Production Unit by IEFP since 2014, the workshop also aims to serve as a place for learning and exchange among craftspeople and enthusiasts. Its makers revive centuries-old methods, using the forge and anvil to shape steel while incorporating modern engineering in selected processes to support quality.

Each piece is individually made, and other materials are shaped by hand with simple electric tools, giving every object its own character. The workshop primarily uses natural materials, including steel, wood, bone and animal horn, highlighting their inherent beauty and distinctive qualities. Its offerings include Portuguese pocketknives, historical and inspired knives, Damascus-steel shaving razors, and custom artisan pieces.
