London Mining Network (LMN) is a dynamic alliance of human rights, development, environmental, and solidarity groups. Our mission is to promote human rights, including the rights of Indigenous Peoples and workers, and sustainable development in communities worldwide affected by mining activities funded or based in London. To achieve this, we engage in various activities, such as monitoring and seeking redress for abuses of human rights, Indigenous rights, and workers' rights in mining-affected communities.

We conduct research into the impacts of mining on human rights, the environment, and sustainable development, raising awareness and promoting public support for affected communities. We advocate for respect for human rights and the environment within the mining industry while working towards eliminating infringements and advocating for legislation affecting mining companies. With mining being one of the most polluting industries linked with conflict and human rights abuses, our work is crucial in holding mining companies accountable and driving positive change.
