London Mozart Players (LMP) is a UK chamber orchestra that describes itself as the country’s oldest, freshest and most adventurous of its kind. Based at Fairfield Halls in Croydon, the orchestra has been part of the borough since 1989, placing community at the heart of its work. LMP creates orchestral experiences through concerts and projects, combining ambitious commissions with imaginative staging and creative approaches to presenting music.
Its programme includes performances of classical works by composers such as Mozart and Bach, as well as themed events like Tasting Notes, which pairs music with a focus on wine-producing regions. LMP also offers learning and participation activities and corporate events, and its facilities and services are available to hire. The orchestra introduces audiences to its musicians and shares stories about its work, while welcoming support through individual donations and corporate giving.
As a registered charity, London Mozart Players works to bring music to audiences and communities, with a particular connection to Croydon
