The School of T’ai Chi Chuan London is a T’ai Chi teaching organisation that has offered classes in London since 1979, bringing its practice to thousands of students. Its teaching focuses on the Yang Style Short Form of Professor Cheng Man-Ch’ing and presents T’ai Chi as a way to support health, vitality, personal safety and creativity. The school offers 10-week beginner courses, with classes listed in Soho and Blackheath, as well as outdoor practice in Regent’s Park during the summer.

Free introductory classes provide an opportunity for newcomers to try T’ai Chi before joining a course. Lessons use the school’s distinctive team-teaching method, designed to make classes easy to follow. For students seeking a longer training experience, the school also runs an annual residential European summer T’ai Chi holiday, combining practice with time to relax and recharge.

Through regular classes, outdoor sessions and residential training, the school offers several ways for people to learn and practise T’ai Chi in London and beyond
