About The Lonely Miaow Association Inc.
Lonely Miaow Association Inc. Every day, they receive calls and emails from the public about homeless cats and kittens who are in need of help. With a vast list of cats and colonies from all over Auckland, Lonely Miaow Association knows that there are many more in need beyond what they currently see.
Lonely Miaow Association follows a Trap, Assess, Resolve (TAR) policy to address the issue of stray cats. Their ultimate goal is to have No More Strays by educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. They provide assistance to members of the community who have stray cats on their property and collaborate with other animal welfare organizations and rescue groups.
In addition to rescue work, Lonely Miaow Association is committed to rehabilitating and rehoming stray cats and kittens. They take in injured, malnourished, and ill cats, provide medical care, socialize them, and prepare them for adoption.
