Lone Peak Software is the consulting practice of Darin Dickey, a principal consultant with 25 years of experience and seven Microsoft certifications. It provides expert Microsoft Azure consulting to organizations looking to build, modernize, and secure cloud environments. The practice combines hands-on engineering with strategic guidance: Dickey writes production code, takes ownership of outcomes, and transfers knowledge to client teams.

Services span Azure AI, including generative and agentic solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI; Azure platform architecture and implementation; Azure data services; and cloud security. Work can include retrieval-augmented generation, agents, application and API development, enterprise integration, data pipelines and reporting, identity and access controls, and attack-surface remediation. Lone Peak Software supports infrastructure as code with Bicep and Terraform, CI/CD, observability, and platform automation.

Engagements are sized for each team, with a stated rate of $115 per hour and written estimates. Dickey takes on up to 20 hours of client work per week and can meet in person with companies in northern Utah
