Lonergan Funeral Directors

Lonergan Funeral Directors is a family-run funeral service based on Main Street in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, Ireland. For more than 85 years, the Lonergan family has supported local families through bereavement, providing dignified, caring and professional assistance. The newly refurbished funeral home offers a place for families to make arrangements and receive support.

The team listens carefully to each family’s wishes, then plans and manages funeral arrangements with discretion, attention to detail and respect for individual requests. Services include cremations, civil ceremonies, webcasting and repatriation, as well as guidance after the funeral. Lonergan also provides coffin selection and funeral stationery, and can discuss funeral costs and answer frequently asked questions. The firm aims to ease the practical responsibilities of arranging a funeral while families come to terms with their loss, and to honour each loved one in a way that reflects the family’s wishes. Families can contact the team by phone or email for guidance and assistance throughout the arrangements.
